Howdy, I’m Kara.
Hey
new
friend!
I didn’t start Trillium because I wanted to run another marketing studio. I started it because I got tired of watching really good businesses hide behind unclear brands.
I have a background in marketing, I’m currently working on my MBA, and I hold a certificate in Innovative Leadership… but more than anything, I’ve spent the last 15+ years in the work. Across industries, across company sizes, from corporate to startups and everything in between.
And if there’s one thing I’ve seen over and over again, it’s this:
✦Most businesses don’t have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem.✦
Over the years, I’ve led work across brand strategy, identity, websites, and full marketing ecosystems… partnering closely and living in leadership teams to figure out what actually needs to be said, how it should show up, and how to make it all work together. Not just look good, but actually work.
Because when a brand is clear, everything changes. Decisions get easier, marketing starts to make sense, and growth feels a lot less chaotic.
These days, I focus on working with founders and growing companies who know something feels off… or know they’re ready for more… and want to build a brand that actually reflects the level they’re operating at.
In other words, what are we actually trying to say… and why should anyone care?
Because a strong brand doesn’t just look good. It makes everything else easier.
I know, It sounds like we'd work great together!

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll probably find me:
✧ traveling the world less traveled
✧ slowly turning my home into a tiny design playground
✧ wandering around the Blue Ridge Mountains
✧ hanging out with my rescue pups, Bindi and Hendrix, who believe they are also part of the creative team
Trillium was built to create the kind of work I actually enjoy doing… thoughtful projects, super interesting people, and brands that want to grow intentionally.
Not louder. Just better.
So if you're building something meaningful and want a brand that actually reflects it, we should probably talk
